How Diana Shed 45 pounds at 59 years old!

Last week I interviewed a client that lost 45 pounds in 8 months from eating optimally.  Today, I’m delighted to share my interview with her – Diana, from Southern California. 

She’s 59 and learned how to eat optimally based on her goals, tastebuds, and lifestyle from me, Nutritionist, Trisha Mandes.  Which is amazing because before eating optimally and working with me Diana felt…

  • Hopeless.  She’d reached her highest weight ever before hiring me.

  • Confused from all of the contradictory nutrition information and struggled with unsustainable diets.

  • That she had to accept that she was going to be overweight for the rest of her life although she didn’t want to.  She’d been stuck not being able to keep weight off for the last 7-8 years.

Plus, she was in a lot of pain, couldn’t walk up and down the stairs and was losing her balance which scared her.

Diana says…

I feel probably the best I’ve felt in years. I feel good about the food that I’m eating. I feel good about what I’m putting into my body. It’s nice, and I’m learning how to cook different things and different foods I hadn’t thought of and I’m finding, oh, that’s really good!

I’m SO proud of her because she was so nervous in the beginning but she signed up anyway.  She took action for herself amongst the fear and I’m SO glad she did because look at what she’s accomplished!

Diana is a great reminder that you can do hard things that help you!
